Description

Now that the Korean summer has truly begun, We have been talking about this trip for the past couple of months, but had to wait for some rain, so that the rivers would be high enough to maximize the enjoyment of this trip.



For those of you who haven’t tried this before, we strongly recommend that you don’t miss out.
Nothing quite beats the adrenaline rush when the boat crashes down the rapids. Be prepared to get wet, but also to have a tremendous amount of fun and a great chance to prove how tough you are, and its also a lot of fun. Then there’s the makeshift water slides that we can slide down on. Of course, those who don’t want to take part in this part of the trip can watch and have a laugh at everyone else.
All of this is in a very scenic area, so as well as having a fun-filled and active day, we will have the chance to see the beautiful scenery along the river.



After the rafting,we will have the chance to go bungee jumping as well. For those of you who are extra adventurous you can experience the thrill for an additional W35,000. The rest of us can have fun watching and swimming. The jump will take place from a bridge over the Hantan River, ten minutes away from where we were rafting.


Of course, this activity is not for the faint-hearted, so if you don’t have the courage, then you can always just sit back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and have a laugh at your counterparts who did have the courage to take the plunge.

Suggestions & What to Bring
1. During the ride, never take off or untie your lifejacket even if you feel hot or stuffy.
2. If your boat capsizes, get as far away from the boat as possible. Getting inside a capsized boat can be dangerous.
3. There is one safety instructor/guide for every boat. Follow instructions carefully.
4. Tie-on sports sandals or aqua shoes that cover the entire foot are recommended. Otherwise, wear running shoes.
Don''''t forget to bring dry shoes for the trip home. You could buy aqua shoes at the starting place and it is 5,000won.
5. Shower room usage is included in the price of the rafting package. However, towels and all other items used
in the shower are not included. Bring these items if you wish. You must also bring dry clothes to change into after the shower.

Schedule :



07:00am Meet at Hongik Univ. station(Subway Line 2, Exit 1)


7:30am: Meet at Express bus terminal station (Subway Line 3,7 or 9, Exit 8).Our bus will be here.


9:20am:visit a reststop where we can change clothes.


10:10am: Arrive at Hantan River, Sundam Valley, where our rafting trip will start.


10.20am: Start rafting


13:00 Take a shower(you must bring a towel with you)


13:20 After 2.5 hrs of rafting, we will have lunch.


14:20 Let us do Bungee-jumping!!


17:00 leave for Seoul


19:30 Arrive back at Express bus terminal


20:00 Arrive back at Hongik Univ. station


*After wiring payment please remember to send an email to the Webmaster in order to confirm the booking and let us know your full name,pick up site and phone number. This will assist in matching your details to the corresponding wire transfers quickly.


*Let us know which day(Saturday or Sunday) you want to join when you contact us. If you want to do Bungee-jumping, you can pay 35,000n at the event place.


How to Pay for Trips
1.You can use ATM machines to wire payments directly from your bank account to Adventure Korea’s account, which is Woori Bank(우리은행) 668-065778-02-101 under the name of Park Seokjin(박 석 진).
2.Otherwise, you can visit any bank in Korea and have a teller wire the funds on your behalf. Be sure to have my phone number handy (010 4242 5536) if you encounter any problems.

How to sign up for the trip


1. At the bottom of the trip details you will see a sign up button click on this. If you are not a member you will have to sign up by clicking on the sign up link. After this is done simply follow the directions as listed.
2. Please leave contact information i.e. phone number in case there is any cancellation to the trip or any other changes to the posted information.
3.You will have to e-mail us at webmaster@adventurekorea.com after you have sent trip payment and let us know so that we can find your payment and we will get back to you with confirmation.
If not, we cannot secure your seat for the trip.


 
Additional Information : 1.Maximum weight for Bungee Jumping is 100Kg 2.If you want to do Bungee-jumping, you can pay extra 35,000won at the event place.
Special Requirement : * We can't do bungee jumping when it rains due to a satefy reason

Cancellation Policy

The reason why we have these guidelines is because of the problems we've had in the past. Extra people would show up on the day of the trip and have to be turned away because there were no more seats available.
Organizing trips, hiring buses and the likes can be expensive, and if people don't turn up without paying it can add to the overall cost of the trip. So by depositing the money into the bank account we can guarantee seats and know who is definitely coming and reduce the overall cost of the trip for you.

If you have paid and would like a refund we have a three day policy. This policy is as follows:
3 days before the trip: Full refund (72 hours from departure time)
2 days before the trip: 50% refund(48 hours from the departure time)
1 day before the trip: 0% refund ( 24 hours or less from the departure time)
