Nomad Burn Festival 2019

Overview

Adventure Korea is going to the Nomad Burn Festival again for its’ 3rd annual celebration in Kunsan! This festival is like the Burning Man festival in the United States where people gather to burn stuff, eat good food, listen to good music, and then leave no trace behind. There is also a parade and a burn EDM concert at night that we will be participating in. We will only be accepting the first 150 people to this festival!
Do not wait until the last minute to book because at this price, we will be SOLD OUT fast!
Regular price online for the Korean nationals is 100,000 won and we are getting a special price for this Festival so come and experience the burn!

  • Make avatars yourself that we will burn later on
  • Get henna tattoos (optional, additional cost)
  • Relax while doing some yoga (Need to bring your own yoga mat)
  • Participate in the parade
  • Listen to many different artists and genres at the festival like k-pop and EDM
  • Listen to the unique African drums and percussion instruments
  • Swim around in the pool that is going to be set up there
  • Complete different challenges to get stamps for food
  • Sleep in a tent provided by us (3 people) and hang out in the large community tent
*You may bring your own tent if you want
  • Visit the different communities that will be set up at the festival like the art market, the food market, the flea market, and more
  • Drink around all the different fires that will be burning
  • Play around with water guns and water buckets to beat the heat of the fire
  • On the way back to Seoul we will visit an apple winery where you can sample wine and rum (Daejeon people will not be able to go, the winery is on the way to Seoul and not Daejeon)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Kunsan city and Korea National Tourism Organization helped us to get the tents, site, and admissions so we made the trip price very cheap!
This is the 3rd Year of the event there and we will be having about 1,000 people there like last year. They added some more events there as well to make the Festival more fun.
