During this 2-day 1-night trip, we will travel to Jeonju and Gimje city. Gimje is known for its high-quality rice due to its many open and flat fields, resulting in the sunshine reaching all the necessary corners to make the rice grow. You will be able to taste this flavorful rice by making Gangjeong which are traditional Korean rice puff snacks.
Encounter one of Korea’s most encaptivating sunsets over the open rice fields of Gimje. Make sure to capture this healing scenery in your memories.
Open your mind and learn concentration skills through the tea, Yebool, and Chamseon ceremonies led by a monk local to the temple. These sessions offer you relaxation and mindfulness.
108 is considered a sacred number in the Buddhism tradition. So you will also be doing the 108 bows and beads ceremony where you will create your own 108 beads string often used for meditation, mantra, and prayers. You can take this home as a remembrance of this trip.
