Jeju Island is Korea’s largest island and home to beautiful sandy beaches, volcanic landmarks, lush countryside, and seaside hotels. It is sometimes called “the Hawaii of Korea” and you can arrive by plane from Seoul, Busan, or Daegu. You can also reach the island by ferry. Jeju is on the 7 wonders of the world list because of its sheer natural beauty. Hallasan Mountain holds one of the most photographed lakes in the world which resides in the peak of the mountain. It is one of the highest mountains in Korea. Visit Jeongbang Waterfall, the most famous waterfall on the island and is 23 meters high. Hike up Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak made up of jagged rocks which resemble a crown and make it one of the most recognizable landmarks on the island. Stroll along Seopjikoji Coast Walk, famous for the yellow canola and beautiful coastal views. Visit Aqua Planet which is the largest aquarium in all of Asia full of stingrays, sharks, seals, penguins, and other marine life. Explore lava tubes at Manjanggul Cave and see an 8-meter tall lava column which is the largest in the world.   • See Jeongbang Waterfall, just one of many waterfalls on Jeju Island, where the freshwater falls right into the ocean. This is the only waterfall in Asia that goes directly into the ocean
  • Swim in the natural pools that form around the coast of the island and dive off of the rocks surrounding the pools
  • Swim in the ocean at Jungmun Beach or relax in the sand
