Locals believe that this remote, volcanic island has mystical energy and is a very sacred location, receiving the nickname, “Mystery Island.” Ulleungdo is believed to have been formed following volcanic eruptions over 2.5 million years ago. You’ll be shocked at the pristine wildlife and rich primitive history tucked away from the mainland. This island is the perfect destination for relaxing vacations and spiritual healing, so we will be celebrating the national Korean holiday Chuseok here. Chuseok is the celebration of the mid-autumn harvest season. Ulleungdo is so large and vast that you won’t have to worry about the overcrowding of tourists anywhere. Go on a four day escapade with Adventure Korea and spend quality time with Ulleungdo Island nature’s beauty that is unrivaled to anywhere else!
The trip will cost 450,000won and this price includes:
1) Bus ride sightseeing around Ulleungdo Island for 5 hours
2) 5 meals (Buffet style in our hotel) including special bibimbap at Nari crater
3) 3 nights at accommodation (The Ulleung Hotel)
4) Round trip limousine bus to and from Seoul
5) Round trip ferry ticket to and from Ulleungdo Island
6) Cable car fee and entrance fees

- Let’s enjoy a variety of water activities (snorkeling, cliff jumping, swimming), hiking, and trekking

- Eat the local delicacies of Ulleungdo: squid, sanchae bibimbap, mussels and rice, and yakso beef—which is the meat from cows that eat nothing but medicinal herbs and vegetables that grow native on the island
- Go to the Dokdo Museum and ride a cable car to the Dokdo Observatory on Ulleungdo Island
- Visit a fish market and see the wide variety of fish they catch around the island
- Go on a bus tour of Ulleungdo Island and see all the amazing sites it has. The road going around the island has finally opened up and is connected so the bus can go in one big circle, making travel time around the island much shorter
- See the unbelievable sights of the volcanic crater in the middle of the island
- Go fishing using the rental fishing gear and bait (less than 7,000won)
- Go to the Underwater Wild Sea Life Observatory where you can see all the sea life that call the waters around the island home
- See the beautiful Bongrae Waterfall, the main drinking source for the people living on the island
- Make use of your free time to explore Ulleungdo Island on your own! Our staff will help you make plans and figure out how to get to the locations you’re interested in.
- Snorkel, swim, and dive into the clear island waters. For those feeling adventurous, you can jump into the water from a bridge with our instructors.
- Ferry to Dokdo Island and take a tour of the island that is disputed between South Korea and Japan (65,000won)

2. There will be 4 people in each room. If you want to share a room with someone, let us know in advance so that we can arrange it for your group.
We will stay in an ondol-style(heating floor) room.
If you want to use a 2 person room, it will cost 60,000won extra for 3 nights per person.
3. There are limited seats (30 available), so please book early to ensure you get a spot. Seats are on a first-come-first-served basis.
4. Please pay the deposit 100,000won now or pay the full amount in order to reserve your place.

6. If the weather conditions are bad on the last day of the trip and the ferry to the mainland is canceled, we may have to stay one or two days extra. In such a case there may be additional expenses incurred.
7.We will have a chance to step on Dokdo island. It will cost 65,000won extra for the round-trip ferry ticket and shuttle bus. If you are interested in, let us know and pay in advance
8. Please let us know if you want to stay longer as we will
book a hotel and change the return ferry ticket.
